Lunch Information
Welcome to the 2011-12 school year at Dominion Academy! We use schoolhousegrill as our hot lunch vendor. Hot lunch is available to orer on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays and must be pre-ordered. All students pack their lunch on Wednesdays.
Our lunch periods are as follows:
- K-1 11:30 – 11:55 am
- 2-3 12:00 – 12:25 p
- 4-5 12:30 – 12:55 pm
- Middle School 12:35 – 1:05 pm
- Parents are always welcome to join their child during their scheduled lunch time, however, please avoid bringing in fast food and siblings must be under your supervision at all times.
- The school will not be providing backup lunches to students in the event that a child forgets his/her lunch. You will be contacted in the morning by the office and asked to bring in a lunch for your child if it is determined that they do not have a lunch or has not registered for hot lunch that day.
- You may register for hot lunch for your child in advance at the Schoolhouse Grill web page www.schoolhousegrill.com. You can review the menu and food contents on the site. Ordering periods are in one month increments. Our school code for schoolhouse grill is 01200
- Registration deadlines are firm and orders cannot be changed or deleted once placed. Refunds or credits will not be given for student absences or scheduled field trips. A 1/2 monetary credit will be given towards a future order in the event of a snow day. Thank you for your understanding and compliance with this policy.
- When placing hot lunch orders, make sure you receive a confirmation email from Schoolhouse Grill. If you do not receive an email then Schoolhouse Grill did not confirm your order and your child will not receive hot lunch during that period.
- The fee for hot lunch is $4.00 per meal, which includes an entree, 2 side items, and choice of milk or water to drink. Additional servings may be added if desired.
- Your help in volunteering in the lunchroom is not only personally rewarding but also serves a critical function for the school. Your child will love having you there and you will be blessed by working along side such great parents. As the school does not have a daytime custodial or food service staff, the hot lunch program cannot function without your help. Please consider getting involved in this wonderful ministry.
