Parent Teacher Fellowship (PTF)

Welcome to the Dominion Academy Parent Teacher Fellowship (PTF). Our mission is to enhance your child’s academic, creative, social and spiritual experience at Dominion Academy by offering a host of “extras” that the school would otherwise be unable to offer.

Some of these extras include:  Start-up money for teachers to purchase items for their classroom, social events such as dances and bingo nights, a school-wide Thanksgiving celebration meal, two to three assemblies, Teacher Luncheons which include: Back to school, Christmas, Teacher Appreciation Day and Field Day, gifts for the Specials Teachers and Administration at Christmas and year’s end, condolences and the kindergarten meet-and-greet in August.

The PTF meets our budget by omitting any fundraising and collects a $100 per family fee at the beginning of the year.  We feel this is an easier way to fund our budget, as this means no soliciting neighbors, friends or family to buy wrapping paper, magazines or anything else that sometimes puts our student (and parents) in awkward positions.  The PTF is 100% volunteer driven and we encourage every family to find a way to be personally involved. It’s the hands-on support by parents that help make Dominion Academy a unique and special place.
